We are a construction plant hire company covering the South of England and Wales and in the course of our business we both supply and hire out construction machines and equipment.

These assets are sourced from the world’s leading manufacturers and there has been significant investment by our company to stock our fleet with high quality machines and equipment.

National Farming Company with a fleet of 70 Gator and utility vehicles.

A national company who specialise in a particular type of farming use the tracker on their fleet of 70 Gator and utility vehicles. Each Gator is valued in the region of £10,000

The purpose of use is to provide protection for the vehicle within a pre-defined perimeter set around the farm where the vehicle is used. If the vehicle leaves that area, an alert is generated and sent direct to the farm staff. There have been 11 thefts during the six years of deployment with all vehicles being recovered by use of the tracker and offenders arrested and charged in each case.

UK based Plant Hire company uses the trackers to protect over 100 machines and to aid recovery in the event of theft.

There are a significant number of plant hire and construction companies using the trackers to protect plant and equipment and to aid recovery in the event of theft.

This particular company have the tracker covertly installed in over 100 machines with the use of the tracker successfully aiding the recovery of their stolen plant on several occasions.

As well as theft recovery purposes, the tracker is also used to monitor activity in terms of hire use. Examples include identifying when a hirer uses plant through the weekend when the machine has been delivered on a Friday with the use on hire to commence on the Monday.

This prevents loss of potential revenue for the hire company.
